Front looks agressive with innovative headlights. Rearlight combination reminds me of an Audi clone. Overall design is not bad I would say.

All new VW Polo

I decided to make this blog entry after reading that VW Singapore is clearing the current batch of Polos to make way for the all new version.

The top of the line petrol engine will be a 1.2 TSI unit mated to a 7 speed DSG gearbox. However, I am not sure if VW Singapore will be bringing in this combination. In the meantime, enjoy the video below:

All new Kia VG (K7)

Kia Motors is set to launch an all-new premium executive car, code-named "VG", this November in South Korea. Kia Motors has recently confirmed that the Korean-market "VG" will be named "K7" and will be the first vehicle in the line-up to adopt the brand's new alphanumeric nomenclature system.

The K7 will be available with a wide variety of fuel-efficient four- and six-cylinder engines, including a 2.4L Theta II inline-4 and a 3.5L Lambda II V6. The 2.4L four-cylinder engine will feature Kia’s latest direct injection gasoline (GDI) technology, generating 201 horsepower. All engines will be mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Toyota FT-86 Concept

The FT-86 concept shall make it's world premiere at the upcoming Tokyo Motorshow. This compact rear-wheel-drive sports car will be powered by a subaru-sourced 2 litre boxer engine mated to a 6 speed manual transmission.

Rumored engine for the next Accent is a direct injection 1.6 Liter with 140hp.

Honda CRZ Concept @ Tokyo Motorshow

Honda will be showing the new Honda CR-Z Concept 2009 next month at the Tokyo Motorshow.

Word is that the CR-Z will get a 1.5 liter version of Honda’s IMA Hybrid system (the Civic and Insight use 1.3 IMA hybrid systems), which could be mated to a 6 speed manual transmission.
